This is where I’ll share new writing about technology, accessibility, education, community, and the projects and people that keep teaching me something.

The guide-dog journals have a home of their own now. They span three chapters: Harold and my 2009 training at Guide Dogs for the Blind, Rory and the 2010 class at The Seeing Eye, and Chief’s 2023 Class 701 journey. Keeping those stories together makes them easier to browse without letting a long archive take over the front of the blog.

The guide-dog journal archive brings all 70 entries together, with separate pages for each chapter. The original article addresses still work, and the archived pages keep their photographs, recordings, and approved reader conversations.

If you follow sites in a feed reader, the RSS feeds include a separate feed for the official blog, another for the guide-dog journals, feeds for news and family notes, and one combined feed. Each feed carries the full article text and is regenerated during every site build.
